What is PRX Derm Perfexion?
PRX Derm Perfexion is a skin beautifying treatment that combines 33% TCA (trichloroacetic acid), hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid to stimulate and exfoliate the skin. The solution is able to penetrate the deep layers of the skin, providing hydration, firmness, and skin tightening while leaving the top layer of the skin intact, which means much less downtime compared to traditional chemical peels. PRX Derm Perfexion also stimulates fibroblasts and growth factors, which can help with the production of collagen and elastin.
PRX Derm Perfexion solution is applied to the skin which is absorbed deep into the dermis. However, unlike peels, PRX Derm Perfexion does not cause the skin to deeply peel or flake. This innovative treatment provides the benefits of a medium-depth chemical peel without the extensive ‘peel’ and downtime because it targets deeper layers of the skin. The treatment stimulates collagen and elastin turnover that makes the skin look tighter, smoother, hydrated and youthful without any irritation or inflammation.

What results can I expect from PRX Derm Perfexion?
You may experience an improvement in your skin right after treatment, however, it can take several weeks for the full results to become apparent.
Multiple treatments sessions are often recommended to achieve optimal results, usually spaced one to two weeks apart.
Results typically lasts 6 to12 months depending on the area treated and individual response. Patients are able to maintain their desired results by undergoing periodic treatments.
What is it like to get a PRX Derm Perfexion treatment?
Prior to your PRX Derm Perfexion treatment, the skincare professional will gently wash and dry your skin before applying PRX Derm Perfexion to your skin with a gentle massage until the solution is absorbed. During this time, some patients may experience some redness and mild discomfort, but most are able to tolerate it well. A deep moisturizer and nourishing cream will be applied afterwards. The entire treatment lasts about 30 minutes. Some patients may experience slightly warm, red and inflamed skin after the treatment, but these effects generally subside within a few hours.
