In 2002, continuing his mission to fix the root causes of patient symptomology, Dr. Garcia was one of the first in Tampa Bay to offer medical weight loss and bioidentical hormone pellet therapy. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT, is a term used to describe the balancing of hormones using compounds that are identical to what is produced naturally in the body. This therapy can help support overall wellness, including improved energy, metabolism, and sustained weight loss.

Dr. J Jay Garcia's mission was to serve the Tampa Bay community by addressing obesity and hormone imbalances for the end purpose of resolving a multitude of chronic diseases that are otherwise treated through numerous pharmaceutical means, or bariatric surgery.
