What is Sexual Health?
Sexual health is a crucial aspect of your overall well-being. It involves a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships. Our dedicated team supports both men and women in achieving and maintaining a healthy, satisfying sexual life with a range of services tailored to your unique needs.
Key Aspects of Sexual Health
- Desire - Sexual desire, or libido, can be influenced by various factors including hormonal levels, stress, and overall health. A loss of libido can impact your confidence, create relationship issues, and decrease your overall quality of life. At the Garcia Centers we provide hormone therapy and lifestyle guidance to help enhance your sexual desire.
- Arousal - Sexual arousal involves both physical and psychological components. For men, issues like erectile dysfunction can hinder arousal. We offer effective treatments, including oral medications and lifestyle modifications, to help you achieve and maintain arousal. For women, hormonal imbalances can affect arousal, and our hormone therapy can help restore balance and improve sexual satisfaction.
- Orgasm - Achieving orgasm can sometimes be challenging due to physical or psychological factors. Your personalized care helps address these issues, providing treatments and education for more fulfilling and pleasurable sexual experiences.
What We Offer
Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Testosterone deficiency is a common contributor to poor sexual health in both men and women. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) balances hormones using compounds identical to those produced by the body. At Garcia Centers we prefer the efficacy of bioidentical hormone pellets, but we offer all other forms such as creams, injectables and orals.
Pharmacologic Therapy
- Sildenafil | Tadalafil: Sildenafil (generic version of Viagra) and tadalafil (generic version of Cialis) are within the same family of ED medication treatment that works by increasing blood flow into the penis after sexual stimulation. These medications also improve premature ejaculation. Compared to sildenafil, tadalafil is a longer-acting medication, hence known as the “weekender pill”.
- Oxytocin: Oxytocin, known as the “cuddle hormone”, supports personal connections, reduces anxiety, and connection during intimacy.
- Bremelanotide (PT-141): A peptide that acts on the brain receptors to enhance sexual arousal, desire, and erectile function. This is available in the forms of injections, oral/troche combinations, or nasal spray.
- Topical Libido Creams for Women: Specialized creams to enhance sexual arousal and orgasmic satisfaction.
- CO2LiftV Women’s vaginal rejuvenation: This at-home, hormone-free carboxytherapy gel treatment restores the youthful functionality of the vagina. By infusing the area with carbon dioxide, the body is prompted to rush oxygen-rich blood to the tissue, aiding cell regeneration. This treatment may improve vaginal dryness/lubrication, pain during intercourse, loss of sensitivity, vaginal laxity, and urinary incontinence.
At Garcia Centers, we listen to your goals to individualize and tailor combination of these pharmacologic treatments to achieve your optimal symptom relief!
